This guide lists recovery housing facilities in the 20-county area served by Interact for Health in Greater Cincinnati. Information about the recovery houses was collected through a survey that was accessible between August 2019 and January 2020.

Percentage of Income Program
Customers enrolled in the Percentage of Income Program pay a percentage of their income regardless of their energy usage.
Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
This income-based assistance program allows those earning below certain income thresholds to qualify for federal energy bill assistance money. The qualifying income thresholds are based on factors that include household income and the number of people living in your home.
Family Assistance
ODJFS supervises several programs to fight hunger, help low-income Ohioans stretch their food budgets, and buy healthy food. Cash assistance programs for eligible low-income families with children are also available.
To apply for these benefits, you must complete an application, mail it, fax it, or deliver it to your local county agency, and complete a face-to-face interview. Transportation
If a member must travel 30 miles or more from their home to receive covered health care services, Ohio Medicaid MCOs will provide transportation to and from the provider’s office.
If traveling less than 30 miles from home a member can get transportation for certain services through the local county department of job and family services (CDJFS) Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) program. Contact the nearest county department of job and family services for questions or assistance with NET services.
Rides are available for the following types of trips:
- Baby showers
- County Department of Job and Family Services (CDJFS) appointments
- Dental, doctor, and vision visits
- Food banks
- GED classes
- Grocery stores
- Job interviews
- Maternity/childbirth classes
- Redetermination appointment
- Social support (e.g., support group, wellness classes, etc.)
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) appointments
- Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) appointments
Members enrolled in Humana case management can qualify for additional transportation services, such as rides for:
- Outpatient and residential behavioral health services
- Intensive outpatient treatment when you are actively engaged in behavioral health/substance use disorder courses of treatment
- Parents to visit their child in the neonatal intensive care unit
- Parents to visit their child in a residential or inpatient behavioral health facility
Unlimited transportation is available for members for the following services:
- Chemotherapy
- Diabetes management
- Dialysis
- Hospital discharge
- Organ transplant
- Postpartum trips (up to 12 months after delivery for doctor visits)
- Prenatal trips
- Radiation
- Urgent care
- Wound care
