We provide care for families, couples, and adults utilizing both traditional and holistic therapies and are comprehensive in our approach to drug and alcohol use (MAT medication-assisted treatment) and treatment of mental health disorders.
At KAV Health Group, we believe that the accessibility and convenience of your care matter, which is why we provide same day appointments and accept Ohio Medicaid insurance, as well as, all of our treatment and therapy services are available online through a confidential, HIPAA-compliant video platform. We use carefully-selected medications, both as part of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs to help our patients overcome opioid addiction, and to help treat mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Our evidence-based approach uses precisely dosed, monitored treatments and safe medication management combined with supportive counseling and therapy to help our patients address their physical, mental, and emotional issues head on.

KAV Mental Health & Psychiatry’s team is comprised of experienced professionals who are dedicated to helping our patients overcome their struggles with mental health disorders.
Our treatment starts with an assessment from our board-certified Psychiatrist and Mental Health Director. Each patients’ treatment plan will be implemented and adjusted by our Nurse Practitioners, who are all certified in mental health and provide flexible service based on each patients’ needs and schedule.
In addition to her work at KAV Health Group, Dr. Bower is also a medical expert with the Social Security Administration. She graduated from the Medical College of Ohio at Toledo with an M.D. in 1995. Since then, she has practiced extensively in internal, occupational, and addiction medicine. Dr. Bower lives in northern Ohio with her family.
Misty Moore is a graduate of Indiana University, Marion, IN, and has an MSN in family practice with a concentration in occupational, emergent, and addiction medicine. She has a strong passion for patient advocacy and is here to provide individualized care and help overcome the stigma and burden associated with substance abuse.
Rachael completed her BSN at Ohio University and her MSN at Purdue University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and The American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her background in addiction medicine began many years ago while working with the first Drug Court in Butler County. Rachael is an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and has a passion for sharks. You'll find that she's always coming up with creative ways to celebrate the greatest week of the year — Shark Week.
With over fifty years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Fragatos is a highly respected neurosurgeon dedicated to advancing patient care. Now, he brings his expertise to the realm of medical marijuana, assisting patients in obtaining prescriptions to improve their quality of life. His extensive knowledge and commitment to holistic healing make him a valuable resource for those seeking alternative therapies.
